Would you purchase locally grown food if it were readily available at the same price as food from outside the Mid-Hudson region? What about if it were somewhat more expensive?

You always here ..."Our economy does not produce anything anymore" As manufacturing has declined in the region food and food products are producing things... not more goods that drive an overly material based culture but quality food. In some European regions they are know the world over for producing amazing food products, they build their economy around agriculture instead of plastic. Whole regional economies built on food products...Think Parma, Champagne, Burgundy, the Hudson Valley, can be great producers again... yes to high tec solar but yes to HV Milk, Apples, Hops, Wines, Cheese, Corn, Yogurt, .... Jobs that can't be exported, increase our quality of life Hudson Valley Brand and attract visitors as well as produce real cash...
